Morris County is conducting a Local Concept Development (LCD) study for the Lenape Island Bridge over Indian Lake on Lenape Trail in Denville. The study's purpose is to identify and propose improvements to the bridge. This project is federally funded by the North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority (NJTPA) working in cooperation with the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA).

The NJTPA completed a Regional Active Transportation Plan for northern and central New Jersey. The goal of this plan is to help establish a safe and functional regional network of pedestrian and bicycle facilities. Visit the project website to see the plan.
